When was the last time you threw up when or immediately after you were done running? Anyone ever regularly push themselves this hard?

I've never thrown up after running but I guess this just means I'm a wimp and never run hard. Right?

No. That's not the intention of this thread. I threw up on slow run in HS once, a long time ago because I ran too soon after eating. Amost did it again today at the top of a steep hill. I think it was because I ate too soon again before going out on a tempo run. I don't think I have ever thrown up from exertion. Curious if anyone else has?

i threw up after every single race i ran. i'm not saying that all the guys who could just walk off the track after their race were pussies, but i'm not not saying it either.

it's amazing how many people worship pre but run like pussies.

LOL 10/10.

I just did a 2 miles x 4 sticky buns x 2 miles race. No hurling here (also no Gallo-walking).

I have puked after running a couple of times.

The main times have been:

-My first real 5k (not just jog to the finish and 400m kick) in cross country. I ate too many gummy bears 30 minutes before my race. Puked in the finish chute.

-After a very hard tapering workout of 8x 1000m. I dry heaved after the last rep

I may have puked on an easy run from just feeling like hell from eating too much or being sick. Having the runs after a hard run seems to be more my style though. Sometimes my stomach will be eating me 10 minutes after i'm done running, after not bothering me the whole day.
