That's probably not helping him get a shoe contract. Some guys are too into being cool in their own minds to be a good investment for a shoe company. Unless you have times or medals that guarantee attention, it helps to be marketable and bring something else to the table. |

Is he only looking for Nike? I don't have time to go through his twitter. I wonder if New Balance could come in and swoop this guy up for minimal dollars, shoes, apparel and travel/hotel costs.... The only way he gets a big payday otherwise is to make the Olympic team. In this day as a miler, where there are a dozen guys to compete with for 3 spots, that's much easier said than done. |
