I haven't, but I'm considering getting into some boxing training. I think it's almost inevitable that I will take a shot to the nose. How painful is a broken nose? |

Actually breaking your nose is not super painful (wasn't for me at least), but the surgery sucked balls. They shove a ton of bandages up there until it heals and then about a week later rip it all out- most painful thing ever. My nose is still broken (surgery did not go well) but there's no way I'll go through that again, so I just live with one nostril about 75% closed. |

Yes I have. It was pretty painful, but it wasn't the most painful thing that has happened to me. The recovery from my nasal septum deivation was THE most uncomfortable thing (and pretty painful as well) that I have ever experianced. Picture Kanye West telling the world "George Bush doesnt care about black people" on loop for a week. My nose is still crooked. I hope I break it again in the future so I can have it properly aligned this time. |

In my boxing days I caught a good one and broke my nose. Healed fine. |

I have a big ugly jew nose. If i break it "accidentally" and have surgery to fix it, could i alter the way it looks? I don't want plastic surgery cuz that's gay |

My nose has been broken half a dozen times. It never really hurts that bad. Anyone who says it does is a puss. Jason Rexing had his nose broken in the middle of a 5K and still ran 13:55... in trainers. |

I had my broken ---missed catching a softball and it hit me square in the face. It didn't hurt that much breaking it. I had it fixed and that was more uncomfortable than painful. At least it turned out OK after the surgery. |

It isn't worth the risk, every break is different. You could get a serious problem that haunts you...for the rest of your life...that can never be fixed. (This happened to a friend of mine.) |

People ask me if I've broken my nose. I think it's a nice way to say its big and crooked. I tell them it's a beautiful nose. Just like mommy always does. P.S. don't get into boxing. |
