This shoe is listed as a support shoe, yet it seems that the plastic inserted is less than the plastic on the bottom of the Saucony Triumph 9 that is listed as a neutral shoe. I'm a neutral runner and would like to try the Mirage 2 because the Kinvara is to soft for me. Any neutral runners training in the Mirage 2?

It has a slight amount of support. Similar to the DS trainer but with less posting and a lower heel height. It's a good shoe, and you probably won't even be able to tell anyway.

I am neutral and run in the Mirage. I too was worried about the "stability" but it really is nonexistent. The mirage is basically just a slightly more durable Kinvara.
