So I am running my first 5k on the track this Sunday. I started doubling the past 4 weeks. The first couple weeks I just doubled 3-4 days per week, and the last 2 weeks I have been doubling everyday. I was hitting like 70-75 mpw, about 10-11 a day(2-4 in the morning, 7-9 in the evening).
I started to taper, and the past few days I have been at 8-9 a day(2-3 in the morning, 6-7 in the evening).
Should I continue to double these next few days and just bring down the mileage? Or should I switch to singles these last few days?
Also, what would be a good final workout to do before sunday? I know it won't really help me to do a workout, I just wanted to get something quick(and not super hard) to keep my legs fresh
