Only 1 race in CT to qualify for nationals. Anybody know of another event in New England or NY in the next few weeks for a 7:08 girl? |

check out www.tullyrunners.com they have a track schedule for NY State. Also, ny.milesplit they'll have races. There are plenty. Sometime every spring there's a steeplefest, I think it's in Cornwall, NY. There will be one in Vestal at the Golden Bear invitational this coming weekend. The meets starts at 4:00 pm Saturday. Great track- NYS Champs were there a couple years ago. |

If you get a field of high quality runners who want to run a steeple, Rob Murray will be open to putting it on in the Dream Invite. Find 4 or 5 other females in the area who are close to qualifying and they will put on the event. Great high quality meet with a low key feel. A lot of fun running under the lights and a lot of knowledgeable fans who add to the excitment. Why not go to St. Anthony's this weekend on Long Island? Always a fast race, application says CT schools OK. Nerud went 6:47 last year.[quote]CT coach wrote: |

Thanks to all for your responses. Rob's meet is the same day as our league championship 7/19 and would not go over well! Thanks again |
