Rank locations in order of strength of magnetic field An infinitesimal current element located at the origin (x = 0, y = 0, z = 0) carries current (I) in the negative z-direction. Rank the following locations in order of the strength of the magnetic field that the current element produces at that location, from largest to smallest value 1. x = 0 , y = 0, z = L 2. x = L, y = 0, z = 0 3. x = 0, y = L, z = 0 4. x = 0, y = L, z = L 5. x = L, y = 0, z = L 6. x = L, y = L, z = 0 Thanks! |

That is incorrect... do you want to explain how you got that? Thanks. |

Ummm...EXCUSE ME??? You begged me to solve your rinky dink little elementary school problem, and I did, and now you have the NERVE to say that my answer is incorrect?!? I rank the strength of magnetic fields for a living and have done so for the past 17 years and now some KID on a running message board is telling me that I don't know my infinitesimal current elements? I don't know, it just seems like this new generation of magnetic physicists are a bunch of punks. |
