Oregon women's DMR was a dns because Purvis was unable to run on the 4x400 which went off 25 minutes later, and Oregon being stretched thin on 400m runners wanted to focus on a fast time in the 4x400 |

Regardless of not running Purvis, Oregon went with Devin Gosberry, Laura Roesler, Chizoba Okodogbe, Phyllis Francis and ran a 3:33.78 for the top spot into the finals!! |

Two questions about the 5000m women's heats: 1) How do they get 32 runners in a single race? Was the OD in heats or did all 32 run at the same time? If all at the same time, how do they avoid carnage? 2) Shouldn't the Olympic Development heat be faster than the College heat? College woman's winner was 16:01. OD 16:36. |
