I'm thinking even without Hasay Oregon takes it. Is thier any place to watch the Penn Relays free online? thank you Get your picks in now :)Think it comes down to Oregon and Washington if they in it if not Villanova or Georgetown But Oregon wins :) Go Ducks |

Oregon...........................Villanova oh well the Oregon women 4 by 4 smoked a 3.33 out in the prelims to lead by almost a second over Illonois,Texas A & M and Lsu. |

If you look at Villanova's first three splits, it's pretty clear that the race would have come down to the anchors. Oregon had no answer for Reid under those circumstances. The 4x800 and 4x1500 might be different given Oregon's depth, but there was no way that Oregon would have beaten Nova today in the DMR. I'ts one thing to be a Pac12 fan; it's another thing to be objective. |

Georgetown didn't run their A team either. No Amanda Kimbers, Rachel Schneider or Emily Infeld. Chelsea Cox normally runs the 800 too. Having said that, i think it would have been very hard to have beaten Nova. The first 3 legs all ran well and the anchor is Sheila Reid. |

Yeah, Infeld is entered in Payton Jordan. I guess she didn't get the 'B' standard last weekend. |

Oregon has way faster 1,200 runners 800 runners see Ncaa Champ and 400 runners then Nova even without Hasay Friday still runs a 420 1,500 which would have been good anoef to win. |

Oh well Oregon takes they 4 by 4 4 by 8 and 4 by 1500 easy hell maybe even the 4 by 2 but i doubt it unless purvis is healthy and running? |

DMRs are rarely won in the first three legs. As long as you have enough talent to keep even, an ace anchor can get you the win. Oregon simply doesn't have enough firepower to bury Reid. Georgetown A would have made the race more interesting, though I doubt Nova would have lost. |

Villanova is lucky that ORegon didn't run the Ducks ran 6 seconds faster in the same race at the NCAA indoors and took 2nd behind Washington :( |

Very slow last leg. If Hasay, Flood or Infeld were there to up the pace, Nova would have run 10 seconds faster. Reid ran over 4:40. She should be able to do that in her sleep. |

Agree completely, illadelphia. Nova's first three legs pretty much made it impossible for any Oregon anchor to beat Reid today. It will probably be a much different story in the 4x800 and 4x1500. I don't think Nova can win those, but stranger things have happened at Penn. I don't think pac12fan can handle the results of the DMR. Clearly, no one was beating Nova today. |

I wondered the same thing about Oregon's DMR dns...Apparently with Purvis unable to run on the 4x400 which went off 25 minutes after the DMR and Oregon already being a little short on 400m runners, Oregon felt it was in the best interest to focus on a fast time in the 4x4 which they certainly did. Would have been interesting to see if Kesselring or Friday lined up on the 1600m leg against Reid |

Unless someone pushed the pace of that race to about 4:25, nobody was beating Sheila today. |
