Kenya has 32 men under 2.07 since the start of 2011. Ethiopia has 16, Brazil and the US have the only others with one each.

True for the American, both Mosop and Mutai have subsequently on record legal, Geb.Geb hasn't though.
A quick glance would suggest about 50 Kenyans under 2.08 and about 25 Ethiopians. There is of course a few other countries with some sub 2.08 performers, Morocco, France, Poland, Japan, Eritrea, possibly a couple of others but can't be bothered searching that far down the all time list. It's a bit sad that 42 of the fastest 50 won't get a crack at the Olympic event.

If we are going by 3-person team, Kenya would still have Team L before Meb, according to times just this year. Ethiopia would have Team G before Meb. If we go down to our 3rd runner, Kenya would have Team T, Ethiopia would have Team H, and Japan would have Team C. Kinda sucks!
