in his new book. You heard it, "message board rats."
It seems more or less true. Trolls, imbeciles, the scum running tends to collect at sites like this.
What say you now?

Is he off his meds?
So, you bought his book and he proceeded to insult you and letsrun. Wow, not the way to encourage sales of your product.
This is like including text on a potato chips bag stating: "Eat these will make you fat." Fat people are the number one inhaler of chips. Don't push them away from the bag.
Oh waahhh. He has a book to bitch in and we have this place.
I'm not sure what it is about his statement that really resonates with me, but it hurts. It hurts deeply. I guess I'm just wondering how he could be so cruel - so hurtful.
What did I ever do to you, Alberto?
I never called you a Mexican. I never called you a cheat. I read and enjoyed "Duel in the Sun" and "The Men of Oregon." I never insulted you for what ended up being an absolutely 1-dimensional, pathetic obsession with running that drove you into a deep depression, where drugs were the only answer. I never insulted you for never being able to find any refuge of life or worthiness outside of the relatively silly sport of foot-racing.
Yes, I will now choose not to buy your book. It's not because you have nothing worthwhile to say (though you don't), having never done anything of real impact or truly pushed humanity forward - to become more human. No, it's because you called me a 'message board rat.'
Definitely true.
I resemble that remark.
Typical Salazar. Hate-driven.
Why do you all assume that he meant LRC? He probably meant the folks over at RW.
He's mostly right.
But the message board rats really have kept the sport going.
I think we all know more about what's going on and who is doing what through the message boards.

I've been called worse on here...

Yes, all those 4, 5, and 6 hr marathoners
Was there a chapter on "grey" supplements. Low dose SARMS, manipulating epi/test ratios, and thyroid replacement?
What about a chapter on his relationship with Balco and Victor Conte and what a wonderful, revolutionary product ZMA was?
Does anyone know if Conte has been asked about Salazar now that he's singing like a bird.
I think I'll tweet him and see if he'll dish. Might help Salazar sell a few books.

Well, I'd say it says a lot about Salazar's character.
I side with Al. He tells people what's on his mind, yet he doesn't require the shield of anonymity that most LR posters demand when they are ripping on people.

Well, for starters, I don't think most of the RW crowd knows who Salazar is. Or was.

As a matter of fact he brings up Conte and BALCO in the very same chapter as the message board rats, and flat out denies he ever took illegal supplements. It's easier to believe him than your Junk. If there is an investigation that demonstrates otherwise fine, but until then it's better to take him at his word rather than believing some jealous slime on the internet.

Did he explain why he was sending urine samples to Victor Conte, the former bass player for Tower of Power? That seems really strange to me. What about you?
No.
He's absolutely right. Salazar nailed you cowardly little bitches.

No.
And you are what the BALCO mailman/UPS/Fedex currier as well as a 3:36 1500 m runner?
Rumors and innuendo.
