I was hoping the guy in the arm sling was going to race |

I have seen girls drink beer faster and be able to finish the whole thing,,,, weak. Love how every beer never reaches vertical; he throws every beer in the can right-side up (so not to obviously spill the remaining liquid); no records will ever be "validated" without holding the empty bottle upside down over your head to show all beer is gone. I don't think this guy could break 6:15 if he followed any of the rules. |

I don't think so. Like the US with its stupid World Series where only a few countries play the sport; any true Beer Mile championship or world record attempt should include the Scots, the Irish, the English, the Mexicans, and maybe the Kiwis too. This is kind of like when England reigned over mid-D running before Africa played. It's only a matter of time when a Kenyan lays down a sub 4 beer mile. That said, will we see a sub 1:40 800m or a sub 5 beer mile first? These are great times we live in.

damn I thought my 6:05 beer mile was good |

It seems that his chugging got faster on each lap. He negative split the chugging. You would think it would be harder and harder to chug when you're gassed out and your stomach is full |

Where do you actually find a track to do a beer mile if your stateside? Or do you just pick a random track at an odd time and pray? |

Just go out late at night and hope for the best lol |

Or maybe it was because he was not finishing the beers. |

Nobody reads your books.[/quote] Unfortunately, that is irrelevant to the fact that he consumed less than 3 beers total. |

Give the kid some credit! THAT WAS AWESOME! Those were not natty lights, either. The most impressive feat in running this year. If I were his parents, I'd be very proud. |

I did a 7.15 in November in a foot of snow drift and 20 degrees F on our track post NCAA's, is there a snow WR beer mile out there that anyone knows of?! |

Ummmm ever heard of Fast Guy's Tricentennial? |
| did it slowly |

He would be DQ in our local beer mile for those tactics but still impressed with his last lap running time. Dude has potential but that performance is not up to standards for setting any records. |

He's currently second on the top performers list, so I'd say he has some potential. http://www.beermile.com/records/ref_sex/g_M |

Yes, it was awesome. Unfortunately it doesn't count. Natty Lights are not allowed in a beer mile, so your point is moot. No light beer. |
| oh? |

Definitely didn't finish those beers. bottles are illegal. got handed the beers. NO CHANCE this counts. |

First off he didn't finish any of those. You're suppose to tip them over in front of the official and have minimal drip (where he would have had 2+ ounces left in each and been DQ'd for it). Bottle records and Can records are different and there are records for each style of container as well as company. And yes, it was a 1600 and not a mile which is 1609.xx |
