Hey my name is Nekoro I'm a retired middle distance runner. In hs I basically had to run everything from 800m and up. My favorite race was and still is the 800m. My pr was 1:55 years ago. I turned the scholarships to go a well known school in Florida. I expected to walk in but didn't and quit from that day because I felt betrayed by the coach. But I end up going to BK college for a semester. I joined the x country team to see if I still had it, I did some what became athlete of the month etc. I'm 28 now and I know deep inside I still have some u.finished work. My goal is to focus on one race and go under sub 1:45 800m. I watched a few ppl I knew from hs and summer track in the Olympics and its good to see them on tv, but hurts to know that I could of been there to. Track/field is my life and I feel like I've given up on my true love. I have the confidence now that I didn't have when I was younger but not in shape like I once was. I know with hard dedication anything is possible. If anyone have any pointers please I'm all ears. Has there been any retired runners that popped back up on the scene and possibly qualify for the Olympics. At the end of the day I know its all up to me. Thanks again
