HEre is top 10 at 35km. Lel is running well. I think Kirui is punching his ticket to London 2012. Who will be spot #3? 1 Kipsang, Wilson (KEN) 3 18-39 02:03:55 +00:00 01:42:47 2 Lilesa, Feyisa (ETH) 9 18-39 02:04:13 +00:15 01:43:02 3 Kirui, Abel (KEN) 5 18-39 02:04:14 +00:16 01:43:03 4 Kebede, Tsegaye (ETH) 8 18-39 02:06:15 +01:57 01:44:44 5 Lel, Martin (KEN) 7 18-39 02:06:15 +01:57 01:44:44 6 Tsegay, Samuel (ERI) 14 18-39 02:06:16 +01:57 01:44:44 7 Mutai, Emmanuel (KEN) 1 18-39 02:06:30 +02:09 01:44:56 8 Gharib, Jaouad (MAR) 11 40-44 02:06:58 +02:32 01:45:19 9 Annani, Adil (MAR) 17 18-39 02:06:58 +02:32 01:45:19 |

At 35k Lilesa and Kirui were 15 seconds back. Then 1:30 back to Martin Lel, Kebede, Samuel Tsegay of Eritrea, then a smaller gap to Emmanuel Mutai. At 30k they needed 14:35 pace per 5k to get the WR. At 35k Kipsgand needed 14:29 pace the last 7k to get the WR. I think he just ran a 4:50 so the record won't happen. He now needs to hold on for the win. Unless he falls apart, it's his. |

Third slot should be given to Geoffrey Mutai. He can deliver and hopefully him and the other two will go 1-2-3 at the Olympics. |

in my opinion if kirui and kipsang both come under 2:04:30, they are both in the olympics. I am pretty sure kipsang will get it but it remains to be seen for kirui but i'll think he will get it. |

Given Kipsang keeps the lead and Kirui finishes in the podium, those are the two on the team. the third will be a deliberation between, G mutai, M mosop and Makau. |

Kipsang is on 2:04:26 pace at 40km. He needs to stay on it to get the course record. The sub 2:04 is now gone. He was on 2:03:50 somethig pace at 35km. I think they said he had 7-8 seconds on Mutai's time from last year at 40km. |

LEL! Moving up well! He could get the 2nd. I don't think he is in contention for an Olympic spot though. |
