A shout out to Employee #1s piece on Abel Kirui. On BBC men's feed they are talking about Renato Canova and said, "I read that in training they'll do 40k runs at 2:10 pace" They didn't say it was Employee#1s piece but here it is: "With Kirui's group, he has handed them some incredibly long (up to 40k), fast runs. Basically, a few times each marathon cycle, these guys are running almost full marathons at almost full effort, considering the altitude.
