I participated in this meet four times around 30 years ago. And yes, it was before Penn Relays each year. It is all about the money. They make sure they can send the kids home right after finals, clear out the dorms - no expense for track save for the handful who are auto qualifiers for NCAA's. I am still amazed that Mike Cotton's 10k mark stands after all of these years, by the way. |

Great run by Alyssa Kulik in the steeple tonight. School, facility, and meet record, along with Oly A Standard, essentially ALL BY HERSELF. Looked incredibly strong. |
