Heard it here first, Makau won't start on Sunday, or if he does, he will drop out and Abel Kirui will win London Marathon comfortably. He is in incredible form.

You don't think Kipsang > Kirui?
Agree re Athletics Klownya
Why is Makau dropping out?
Is he guaranteed a pick for London already?
He has a slight injury. Abel is your man.
Isn't E Mutai running London again?
Course record last year is not to be sneezed at, if he's healthy I think he takes it.
Also don't count out Kebede. He may not have a the best PR, but dude knows how to race.

True
E Mutai had a bout of typhoid, probably isn't 100 percent

Was it the same bout as Wesley Korir?
Looking like it may happen...
You predicted it man!
To be fair... Kirui blew pretty badly last 2km. Neverless stupid Kenyan Athletics..
Kipsang, Moses and then who do you choose? Kirui most probably.
3As much as I understsnd how these athletes ended up blowing up, let's be fair.
I am a big critic of AK but as a question, assume you are isaiah Kiplagat, David Okeyo or any one of the Kenyan coaches.
In your stable, you have;
1. Geoffrey Mutai 2.03.02
2.Moses Mosop 2:03.06
3. Patrick Makau 2.03.38
4. Wilson Kipsang 2:03.42
5. Emmanuel Mutai 2:04.40
6.Abel Kirui 2:05.40
From these great athletes, you need to pick three guys to represent your country.
You have to be prudent and also fair. It's not an easy task.
Each one has his merit of making yhe team and they all know it.
I am not a fan of how AK does its business but I am putting the huge task facing them (naming a good team) into consideration.
No matter whom they pick, it will be tough.
I pointed out before on this forum that Kirui never does well in a spring Marathon. The best he has ever attained is a 3rd place in Rotterdam afew years ago.Any other spirng marathon has been poor by his standards. However in Autumn he is in supreme form hence why he should be in the team in addition to his 2 world championship gold medal performances. I would pick:-
Kipsang
Kirui
G. Mutai
Wesley Korir as alternate instead of Lel because lel too injury prone.
Jakob Ingebrigtsen has a 1989 Ferrari 348 GTB and he's just put in paperwork to upgrade it
