OK, in-studio commentators, get it together. Korir will not be representing the US at the Olympics. How is that even a topic?
Really, WTF? "The coaches are going to have to look at him for the Olympic team"?? Don't tell Abdi, Meb and Hall!
Do they know that there was an Olympic trials marathon?

Good smart run by Hartman.
Congrats to Wesley Korir.
Wasn't Korir working as a janitor or maintenance staff and caught a ride to Chicago or some other marathon close to Louisville. Had enough cash for 2 subway subs, gave one to a homeless man and went off and got like 2nd or 3rd?
Either way congrats to him on a solid victory.

HOLY CRAP these commentators are awful!
They just said that Wesley Korir might be on the U.S. Olympic Team for London? That the coaches and committee might have to take a look at him?
WHAT THE EFF are they talking about?
1. He's Kenyan.
2. The US Trials were months ago.
3. Boston performances don't matter for US team selection.
HOLY CRAP. How did anyone let them get hold of a microphone in this sport?
Butters and Cartman the fastest non-kenians... well done colorado!

Yeah, that is him. Real good guy. As far as I know he still works at UofL as a maintenance guy. I'm sure we will hear a LOT more about him after today.
Dumb question: Does Hartmann just handle the heat better than most others? or could he really turn in a marathon just 2 minutes slower than the top Kenyan guys on a better day?
I realize he ran smart, for time, but didn't Korir also run smart?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Des Linden: "The entire sport" has changed since she first started running Boston.
Matt Choi was drinking beer halfway through the Boston Marathon
Ryan Eiler, 3rd American man at Boston, almost out of nowhere
