In retrospect, would any American have been likely to win today?
Kisori is pulling farther ahead.
He did look back but has a solid lead.
Hartmann is in 7th but his last 5k was 34 seconds ahead of the guy 22 seconds ahead of him in 6th and was 24 seconds faster than the guy who is 35 seconds ahead of him in 5th.
Those guys went for it and died he could get them. Top 4 will be harder but not impossible.
Ko-RIR! Ko-RIR!
the 2 guys ahead of hartmann are running slower than him.
Kisorio or Matebo in the lead now? Get your facts straight.

This could get interesting. Larry Rawson said Matebo just ran a 5:34 mile. Wesley Korir is now in 2nd. Not sure how far back but unless Matebo has something less he's in big, big trouble and Korir could win it.
Hopefully Korir hangs on to third. A 2nd at Chicago last year and a 3rd at Boston? Not a bad stretch for him.
Nike and Adidas are really annoying. Why do your jerseys look so similar? Do you understand anything about marketing? It's just ridiculous and extremely hard to identify athletes this way. It's bad enough that all the Nike athletes wear the exact same unis.
Larry Rawson has just said that Wesley Korir went ot Illinois (he went to Louisville).
Ron Mann fans unite!!!!
It's going to be a 2:31 high finish.
Mile 25 was 5:49 for the women.
Didn't Korir go to Louisville? Rawson just said he's from Illinois.

If you think Boston is tough, try this camp.
Larry thought he went to Louisvillinois.

He went to Louisville and still lives in Louisville I believe.
He went to UofL and Murray State! he ran a yr there as I was on that team. Definitely a great guy with alot of talent and willing to do the work it takes
korir and matebo tied for lead
Wesley Korir has already caught Matebo.
2:05 in. Not sure why he just wouldn't go right by him. He made up tons and tons of ground. If that happens it means they are going completely different paces.
Wow Korir is now 20 meters back. Crazy.
LET'S GO WESLEY!!!!
3200m = 1.25 miles??
3200 meters... about a mile and a quarter...
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
