Paula has a slightly higher probability, due to the fact she has already qualified and is on the team. Then perhaps Geb... maybe there is a chance he can get on the 10,000m team like in 2008, in which case both Geb and Paula should have a good chance of a top 10 finish, but neither will win gold. |

Assuming they all qualify, Geb without a doubt. That said, he won't be on the team. That leaves Paula. Webb cannot make it to the semi finals. We all know that. |

I honestly don't think Paula has a hope at a medal. Look at her performance today (accompanied by the usual excuses, I think it was bronchitis this time. And the usual whining and moaning). She is past her prime, is constantly sick or injured (or so she says)at every race. I think she should stand down and give her Olympic place to one of the younger and up-and-coming runners ... Alyson Dixon, for example. |
