i ran the year it was in the 80s back in 2004 i think. it wasn't that bad...you knew it would be hot so you paced accordingly. duh. |

It's pathetic. Yeah it may be 80+ but it'll also be low humidity and the wind will be at their backs. Conditions are much easier than say Honolulu on a good day. BAA are just covering their asses, no reason why people shouldn't go out and race. 2004 was an awesome race, just a little slower. |

They should just encourage people to run faster. The problem isn't racing in the heat. The problem is spending 4+ hours running in the heat. Run 2:20 instead of 4 hours and you'll be fine. |
