An honest 9.90 season opener, in APRIL. OMFG All I take from that is that Bolt is already in 9.8x shape. In fact, I think that Bolt is perpetually in 9.8x shape, as long as he is normally healthy. Is this the earliest sub-10 ever, or the earliest 9.90 ever, in the northern hemisphere? I think that Powell just crapped his pants, and that Carter just pulled up his pants. |

Not surprising. Blake can go 19.2 and 9.6 this year, he can beat Bolt. |

Standard stuff, rocking back-and-forth at the start, head bobbing around, but just tremendous solidity in the second half of the race. He left .10 on the table in the first 20m 9.7x coming this year. |

moop, I do not doubt that he could go 19.2 and 9.6 He and Bolt are just so far ahead of everybody, it is inconceivable. It will be a 2-man race this summer, unless Gay is blessed by a miracle. With them pushing each other, there is a serious possibility that the WR could fall, notwithstanding the new false start rule. Change the FS rule!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm betting on Blake going 9.73-9.74 this year, given good conditions, and 9.70-9.71 given great conditions...only a slight improvement over last year, but those would be some amazing, and hard-to-beat, times. Bolt might go faster, but not until the end of the season. I think that 9.6x would be very lucky for Blake, and that he might run it once in his life if all the stars align. But then again, he just OPENED in 9.90 |

It seems like the track is superfast. Like Eugene or Rieti. For me blake will go 9.69 or similar this year. And Bolt sub 9.62. Big PB for Odean Skeen!!! 10.33 and he's 17. It's April. He could run sub 10.20 at summer. |

bolt can go low 9.6 but probably not under 19.2 again. He seems to be slowing down the past few years, and he was probably hurt this winter. You all seem to forget he is a big guy, and big guys don't do so well. He's been pro since 06 and he's been running world class times since he was a teenager. He will probably win the 1, but the 2 Blake can take because Blake is far more efficient in his footstrike. In the sprint world, Bolt is an old man. 6 years of that level training on his body, is a long time. He should probably focus on the 100 and 4x1. The 200 is Blake's. |

I think Bolt is about where he was at the end of last year, but it's hard to tell from just that video. I'd put Bolt at 9.75-9.80 already. Blake looked good but not great.. but 9.90 is obviously no joke in April either. I do think Bolt is a little ahead of Blake right now though. |

The margin of victory is what impressed me. I'm starting to think that just maybe Bolt did take a dive in that World 100m, he knew. |

Blake's a beast. Bolt's false start looked hella fake (as in totally intentional). It will be interesting and Im curious and hoping to see how mentally tough Blake is in a OGs setting with Bolt, Asafa, Gay and Powell at 100%. |
