Ethiopians deserve alot of respect for picking up the challenge from Kenyans so quick. They are like the killer African bees, ready to sting at any opportunity. Though the rest of the world is reduced to spectator role in the marathon, they will get a treat worth their money-watching red-blood Africans destroy themselves for a couple of bucks! One thing for sure, the world record as well as course records will keep falling as neither Kenyans or Ethiopians want to let go of this supremacy battle. This GREAT RIFT VALLEY rivals, men and women alike, are ever ready for battle royal! Sport marketing firms as well as promoters continue to invest in these countries and to expose more and more youths to international competitions. We salute them all. |
