I'm running my first ever race tomorrow, a 1500m. So I have no PRs to give. Here are some of my recent workouts: 2x(4x400m,3 steady (avg ~1'17"), 1 fast (1'10" & 1'13")) 2x(4x200m, 200m walk/jog rec) 5-6 minutes between sets. (30",30",31",32",29",30",31",31"). Very windy though, in an advantageous way, and freezing cold. Not all out, but not far off. 2x600m (1'57",1'55"), 2x400m (1'17", 1'13"), 2x300m(53",55") About 4' between each. Not too hard. 12x400m in ~80s, with equal rest. Quite easy. 10.3 mile run on very hilly course, in around 1 hour 27 minutes, moderately hard. I've been doing a decent amount of easy runs as well. Will come back tomorrow and reveal all, I'm just curious because it's my first so I have nothing else to go by. |

4:50-5:05. Looks like you have more speed than race-pace endurance right now. Best of luck! |

So I will say 4:31 |

Try to run 75s for your first three laps, then DROP THE HAMMER!!! |

I predict you will run 1150 meters and then drop out. Best of luck. |

So 3:45 at the 1200 plus 46 over the last 300 gives 4:31. Yes, that's the way to do it to meet my prediction. |

I wasn't sure I'd get much under 5:00, if under at all, but thinking about it a few 75s strung together doesn't sound too hard, so maybe. Thanks for the help guys (even if it is a bit varying!). Can't see myself hitting 4:20, haha. And I'll definitely finish=P |

Yea, looks like I'll actually be running the 800 tomorrow (got rid of the 1500 in my age group), is sub 2:25 realistic? |

Looks like you will be stronger in the 800- 2:08ish 1500- 4:34ish |
