Sowinski ran 46.81 last weekend. He should've/could've won the NCAA 800 indoors, but McHenry elbowed him out of the way with 175 to go and got away with it. As he should have, it ain't tiddlywinks out there. It was a great effort by Sowinski to not feel sorry for himself, regroup, and finish third.
Loxsom is fine and an Owen Dawson sighting at sub 1:49, didn't he graduate like six years ago?
Minnesota's guys ran well at Stanford. The Big Ten is crazy loaded at 800.
At first I read Sowinski as you saying Chris Solinsky's name in a baby voice. Shame, that would have been an amazing race for him.
Creese is looking better all the time, no idea how this guy was so under the radar coming out of high school. He's the next big thing.

The two Missouri guys(West and Irwin) looked really good in that race as well,
Should be an interesting men's 800m at the Big 12 Champs meet also, with these two guys, the Texas AM guys(Preble, Roberts& Rameriz), the Baylor Guys(Gilreath & German kid) and the Texas kid(Thompson).
