The real athletes play golf when their seasons are done and when their bodies are torn down. Does this delegitimize golf as a real sport? |

I bet they go run, too. What does that tell you? |

No, of course golf isn't a sport, though its more athletic practitioners *tend* to do better. (That's not saying much, though--more-athletic people tend to do better in a lot of human activities.) For that matter, football isn't a sport, either. They're both games. Nothing wrong with that: games are fun to play and fun to watch; they're just not sports, y'know, the way The Sport (t&f/xc) is. |

So golf is illegitimate because people play it for fun and relaxation? That would make every sport illegitimate. I mean, you do realize that that is more or less what sports are for, right? |

Didnt basketball players play some touch football? Football players play some basketball? I know baseball players have played basketball in the offseason, of course the only real sport is running. The punishment on all these teams is to go run a lap, so in between playing their games and getting in trouble they end up having to do the hardest part of the day and run |

I've heard that after the golf season is over the players all get together and play a touch football game. |

Touch football isn't a real sport. It's actually a bit gay...trying to reach for another man's waist. You know what I'm saying, fersure? |

Doped sports are not athletics. |
