Yes, by definition I will face ostracism for my role, but I will gladly do what I can even while sacrificing the hollow prize of popularity.

JWIAF is a lying, dbag piece of sh!t troll without any semblance of intelligence, logic or rationality to be found in his posts.

The board was a better place when you were laying low after showcasing your ignorance and stupidity a couple of months ago with your last asinine Rupp-bashing attempt.

This is why Galen Rupp bothers me, although maybe Salazar talks him into this stuff. He has ZERO chance at running 8:10 and it is obvious to the intelligent. He will be fortunate to run 8:15 if everything falls into place. He has absolutely no chance at running faster than 8:15. I will NEVER post here again if Rupp runs faster than 8:15 this weekend.

Galen Rupp will be 26 in May and he has peaked. He will not improve any more, at least at the distances he has already competed in. His career bests will be 13:06, 26:48 and whatever he can eventually run in a marathon, perhaps 2:06 or so. Congratulations on a fine career, and of course he is not done, as he will continue at a fairly high level if he stays healthy.

Check this video out of the last 500M of the WC 5000M final. At the beginning there is a great close up as they go into the final lap before anyone is kicking. Rupp is pretty near spent while those around him are much more fresh and itching to accelerate through to the finish. Kind of sums up where Rupp is at.
