Would be happy to,talk to you offline about your project. I was the assistant to the director of communications for the Olympia LOC and wrote many of the articles for the "Marathon" newsletter. Working for the LOC was the start of my career covering the sport.

Holy cow. Paul, this is Clover. Small world! You have my email. I'd love your help, and I'd love to catch up. By the way, The Hat has a place of honor on my desk!

Hey Scott,

I was just looking at the oldest sub-2 thread, and it reminded me of.... I think, Pete Hallop, but one of the AATC guys, who broke 2 for like 25 years in a row. Do you remember who that was and how many years in a row he did it?

Bill Stewart - don't know how many consecutive years he broke 2 - but near 20. He also set the masters indoor mile record about 2 weeks after turning 40 long ago. I don't know that PHallop ever broke 2.[/quote]

I don't live there anymore but there was a fellow in Seattle around 1980-83, Evan Schull(?), who had bettered 2 minutes for the 800m every year for the last 20 years at that time.

Me again, Paul. I've just realized I don't have your email info, but just your Facebook info. Can you connect with me at [myfirstname].[mylastname]@gmail.com? If you don't see this, I'll connect with you on FB after Easter, when my Lenten Facebook exile is over.

By all means keep the hijacks coming.
