I'm pretty sure it was the miler. An article I read said he had run a PR 1:02:40, and the other Rui Silva's PR is 1:02:36.

Right, This Rui Silva was the miler (...the one who blazed the last 800m of a the 2004 Olympic 1500m in 1:46.xx).

Rui no longer runs 1500. Now he bet on long distances and will try the minimum for the olimpic Marathon in London 2012.

The other Rui is Rui Pedro Silva, great runner too !

Good to see Rui Silva back. Anyone know if he plans to run any 10000m races on the track this year?
