For some strange reason Americans think that they are the only tested people on the planet and that, somehow, USADA is more stringent than anyone else. Yet Americans wonder why the rest of the world thinks they are arrogant a-holes. Stop believing your own press, they aren't any more honest than anywhere or anyone else. |

I completely agree!!! People who are that talented in high school never have to resort to drugs! (Marion Jones says hi!) |

A lot of elite athletes are assh*les. Look at Andy Murray for example. Look at the posts on this board about hobby joggers and low mileage runners. It goes with the territory. You need a selfish streak to become an elite athlete and that may involve eschewing personal relationships and staying 100% focused on your sport. |

Bold is an A-hole for the same reason the dudes who get the hot girls are A-holes: confidence. You would be cocky too if you ran 9:58. |

Are you saying that passing drug tests proves that you do not take drugs? Knowing that Marion Jones never failed a drug test. I have zero faith in USADA's ability to find PED users. I am not saying that Tyson Gay is on drugs. I am saying that I am equally suspicious of him as I am with Bolt. Neither gets a pass from me. |

I'll add to that: At some point when people keep telling you "Usain, you're the best!" even if you aren't predisposed to cockiness, you're going to get cocky. |

I don't consider him to be an A-Hole. Not anywhere near being one. I salute him for having managed to avoid becoming one. |

I would think that you would be less suspicious of the one who volunteered as much blood as testers could take as to make it easier to detect any changes in his baseline chemistry. That is not the action of a drug cheat. |

Wilkins tested positive for SARMS (1 of 2 people caught) about the time Bolt showed his amazing improvement. If you think only 2 international athletes have used SARMS when the bodybuilding sites are full of it, you're smoking something.[/quote] Why don't you list all the Balco dopers and those being busted in the USA too? The USA almost destroyed Track & field. Jamaica/Bolt put it back on the map. If you're a real "coach", you should be thanking them. The fact is that the improvement and increases in testing leveled the playing field. Now, the country with the most natural talent and greatest focus on the sport, is producing the best sprinters. |

If Gay's baseline chemistry is high from the start, changes won't be detected. If there is another "clear" untectable designer steroid then of course it will not be found. Gay may be perfectly clean and Bolt may be perfectly clean and that would explain no positive tests. I just don't like the rationalization of picking one athlete to be clean and one to be dirty without more than a hunch. I would go on to say that I would raise my suspician for an athlete like Shawn Crawford who worked with Trevor Graham considering the rsults from Marion Jones, Tim Montgomery, Antonio Pettigrew and Justin Gatlin. Hard to think he won an Olympic Gold medal clean while training with this group that have known steroid users. And as you gather this evidence of known drug users, many who never failed frequent tests, it gets harder to think that Gay and Bolt ran faster than them without help. So it's hard to single out accusations on anyone without strong evidence. I will not award a clean champion. That can never be proved. |

If you have ever run faster than the following times you are juiced, no debate. 100 - 10.00 200 - 20.40 400 - 44.50 800 - 1:45.00 1500 - 3:36.00 5000 - 13:15.00 10000 - 27:45.00 Marathon - 2:10:00 I applaud all of the clean athletes everywhere who don't have to cheat to run great times. |

I can't tell if you're trolling or not. This is ridiculous. I definitely believe there are lots of professional track athletes doping, but you're delusional if you don't think there are people on this planet who can run under the times you've listed without doping. I mean, Christ. In my college days I could run under 11 in the 100. And I was a NOBODY. A walk-on scrub. Not even the 3rd or 4th best guy on my own team. I would have to be insane to think there isn't a man on this planet who could run 1 second faster than me without steroids. |
