i mean there really isnt anything remotely glamorous about this challenge. a lot of running and sitting around drinking

when i paid at golden corral i got a bicentennial quarter as change. that must be a sign. i got really excited and caused a bit of a scene. then i drank in the bathroom

Can you even get beer at Golden Corral? I'm thinking no but I've never been there. If not that was a terrible decision.

Just to check - it is 10AM east coast, that means we are 70 hours in, correct? How much is remaining?

My translations/estimations put Fast in the ballpark of 71 miles and something like 75-80 beers with just 10 hours to go. Can we get a more official count?

Commitment to engagement of the Ginger enemy must be stronger than ever in these most trying of times.

I don't want to sound discouraging, but there's no way you're going to head out for another 14 mile run in the midst of drinking 2.5 beers/hour every hour for the next 10 hours. To me, it sounds like you HAVE to get the rest of the running out of the way first no matter how tired the legs are. Once the drinking starts, there can be no letting up. Unless you can run 14 miles hammered, which would deeply impress me.

Also, dont forget: if you drink 10 beers in the 80th hour, then yuke in the 81st, you've got more beers to drink in hour 82.

Someone in the vicinity, please translate this for Fast, he likely will not be able to read given his current spelling.

No, but you can bring 6 beers in a black nike drawstring bag and drink them in the middle stall of the bathroom between each plate. Oddly they don't have a policy on that.

~20 beers left in 6 hours. The world's record is certainly in jeopardy, but there is zero room for error (or naps).

Remember your training.
