Way ahead of pace after 1 day. Gives you lots of room to work with, nice! Are you in college and going to classes throughout this?

+1,000. I didn't want to be the first one to say it. 26mi20beers after 14 hours is a very good pace but 26mi20beers after 23 hours is not as awe-inspiring.

Pull it together, men! Get up and MOVE!

Last time when Fast Guy completed it in 97.5 hours we had classes which we were very drunk for. Drinking in between class in the bathrooms is an epic thing. This week we are on spring break, which is why he's trying to bang it out that much faster.

I can hear him somewhere in this house and I know he already ran today. I'll go find him and get him to post

It's been 12 hours since last update. Are they dead? Has Fast stuck a fork in it?

There is such a thing as too much suspense.

Would this challenge me more or less difficult using 100 ounces of 80 proof spirits?

This is the situation:

I woke up this morning with what I thought was just a hangover but it progressed worse and worse. It turned out to be a fever and thus today's totals are dismal. Good news is I am awake again and am feeling a bit better. Now going to try to get 15 miles in before dark. It's going to be very very tough to meet my 80 hour goal but I'm still going for it. #relentless

Just wondering, when they found you passed out, how did they take your temperature?

If you have all week for to accomplish the goal, is it worth putting the option on the table of postponing for 48 hours (diagnostic and recouperative), then restarting thursday, thus finishing hopefully sometime sunday?

no shame in that if you unknowingly started with a bug already in your system.

It isn't even close. You would need to drink 150 ounces of 80 proof spirits to equal what they are doing.

Yeah, I second this. No shame in putting it off for a few days. You will still be able to utilize the end of your spring break week. Running sick is not good though. It can definitely be dangerous. I want to see healthy full throttle effort

another 15 miles done. feeling really good actually but that will probably change once i start drinking in a couple minutes.

in reference to postponing, im not trying to do it in a week, im trying to do in in under 4 days. a little off pace because of this morning but im taking it a few hours at a time.

liquor vs beer. part of the difficulty of the challenge is that you are drinking 9.4 GALLONS of beer. stomach capacity becomes an issue when you add that to the amount of food you need to eat and water/blue powerade you need to drink to facilitate both the running and drinking aspects of it
