Kick in the butt? If you consider an American Record (Rupp), British Record (Farah), and 3 wins (Centro, Farah, Olionard) than yes they must really suck...
I do agree that Rupp DID get his butt kicked yesterday.
Indoor means dick
Next race he will run a 4:10. Manzano is such a non-factor it is not even funny.
Manzano is not a factor? Now that is fummy. Never count Leo out.

He is not a factor because he is inconsistent as shit. Next race or the race after that he will bomb in a big way. The guy runs great prelims every once in a while then sucks when it really matters.
Since making every US team since 2007 is sucking it up when it really matters, right....
How about an actual race report?
1 Leonel Manzano Nike 3:48.05
2 Matthew Centrowitz Nike 3:48.16
3 Galen Rupp Nike 3:48.44
4 Garrett Heath Saucony 3:49.59
5 Brian Gagnon New Jersey New York TC 3:52.81
6 Carlos Jamieson Central Park TC-New Balance 3:54.25
7 Jeff See Saucony 3:54.54
8 John Sullivan New Balance Silicon Valley 3:55.00
9 Owen Dawson unattached 3:55.25
10 Russell Brown Oregon TC Elite/Nike 3:56.62
DNS Christian Gonzalez New Jersey New York TC
DNS Liam Boylan-Pett New Jersey New York TC
Was this a 1500 or a mile?
Full mile
1500, lol. People don't run times like that indoor.

You are a GD moron.
Like I said on the other thread, Galen Rupp = zero acceleration.
I change my Rupp 100m from the blocks from around 12.5 to around 13.0
Seriously.
no it's a 1500m duh. we're not gonna get 3 sub 3:50 mile times indoors in a tactical race. do you realize how fast that is? ALL THREE TIMES by Rupp, Manzano, and Centro are under the current indoor mile record.
Any "Miler" that lost to RUPP in this final needs to RETIRE.

Especially Russel Brown! What does a 3:51 miler think he's doing in this sport? What a joke!
Quite empressed with Rupp's kick here. Barely outkicked by 2 very fast guys.
TIME TO MANZANO UP!!!
Off of the pace of the race, I am really not surprised Manzano won. He has shown time and again, that if he is in it in the last 100m he can outkick almost anyone. If the pace had been 3:39-3:44 Centro would have taken it.
