Feel free to elaborate. Double-majoring is fine. Explain why.

Finished undergrad a few years ago, BA in Political Science w/ plans to go to law school. Fast forward 4 years, decided def. didn't want to go to law school, which was the right decision for me. Thinking about going back to school here in the next year or so. Will either look into an Environmental Science Masters program, or even get another undergrad degree in Biology/Botany, and assess further goals from there.
I'm f*ckin bored. Can only work out so much in one day, and having a lot of trouble in my small town job market. Back to the city for me. Mind as well get some extra education.
I'm about to graduate with degrees in biology and chemistry, minor in molecular biology. I love biology, but I found out chemistry is not my thing and wish I'd have spent my time studying other things. I loved organic chem and inorganic lab, but analytical chemistry, p-chem, etc are just effing terrible, and I could not see myself making a career in the field. I plan on getting a PhD in some biology field, either Zoology or Wildlife Biology probably (depends on the school). I've taken classes in a lot of different areas, classes like servey of eastern history, archaeology, intro to psychology, macroeconomics, art history, etc, but I never really dug deep into any area except science. I kind of wish I'd gotten another degree in something totally different like economics or finance, english, philosophy, etc, maybe minored in math. I'm young though and am in school still, so my opinions might change in a few years. The trouble with college is it's hard to know what one really wants to study until they're already 1/2 to 3/4 of the way done.
Major: mechanical engineering.
Wish I would have studied medicine or become a pilot
graduated with a degree in Exercise & Movement Science 2yr back.
returning to school in 2013, but for nursing.
Graduated with a BS in Exercise Science. Working in a wet lab as a transition to an MD/PhD. Wouldn't change a thing :)
I majored in dentistry.
I wish I'd majored in public relations.
Major: mechanical engineering.
Probably would've stayed in the same major or maybe electrical engineering. Definitely would've tried to use connections to get internships, though. My job choices out of school were kind of limited by never having had an internship.
I majored in Broad Field Science with minors in math and biology. My goal was to be a middle school science teacher, but I, at some point, decided that teaching didn't interest me. 8 years later I got an M.S. in management, which has been very helpful. I may start a Ph.D. this fall in Natural Resources Science and Management. If I could do it all over again, I would have picked Business Admin. or something similar for my undergrad major.
Majored in journalism. Been a reporter for six years and am looking to get out. Low pay, high stress, little respect in the community.
Wish I would have done marine biology or something along those lines.
B.A. in Political Science. I wish I would have majored in information technology or integrated social studies education.
Linguistics, eventually. I'd do it again, but would probably add a minor in psych, then make my first stint in *grad* school psych (specifically foreign-language acquisition), rather than continuing in Southeast Asian linguistics.
After a couple years of that first period in grad school, I realized that I was being trained for exactly one job that existed in academia: a job that was held by my professor, who was around 40 years old and had tenure.
Bad strategy.
Majored in math and econ (technically didn't graduate with the econ major as I didn't write the thesis, despite more than enough credits).
Would probably still have majored in math since I enjoyed it and it came easily, but would have also taken some more practical courses like finance, accounting, Chinese (currently working in finance in Asia). Accounting is a b**** and it's worse when you're not motivated by grades to study.
This is a good thread.
I majored in Math and Economics and got a Masters Degree in math. I dropped the PhD program, finally recognizing that math is not for me. Would like to have majored in Oceanography.
When going back, it is easy to get a Social Science major through night classes while working. Impossible to go back for a science major and work; there are very few night courses offered.
I did undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and Secondary Education. I went directly into graduate school and got a Ph.D. in math.
If I had to do it over, I would have double majored in Mathematics and Computer Science as an undergraduate. I took a few programming classes and enjoyed them. But I think it would have been much more useful to me then the education degree.
It seems like so many jobs for mathematicians want to see a lot of experience with computer science, and they are really looking for people competent in programming.
I also think I would have gone into a more applied field for my PH.D.
Majored in History and Religious Studies. Enjoyed studying those but not very practical.
If I had it to do over I would major in a science with the goal of going to pharmacy school.

Do you know what branch of nursing you're looking to get into? Only asking because I graduated with an Ex Sci degree and may go back for nursing soon.
Electrical Engineering, 1983. Would choose Nuclear Engineering or Petroleum Engineering nowadays.
Got a degree in History/Political Science which I was told would be the best majors for law school. If I could do it all over again I would have gotten a degree in Accounting or Financial Planning and worked towards a CPA or masters in tax with law school as a second thought.
Majored in Biomedical Engineering.
I should've taken an extra class or two to have made it an EE/BME double major.
It would have been a lot easier to have gotten that first job as an EE...
