Good for him. Better for him to be completely rested than to risk injury.
Has he always been that religious? He sounds like Ryan Hall.

Wait a minute, doesn't this guy train in the same group as Rupp? I'm thinking maybe it was all a ploy.
imagine if the giants just didn't show up yesterday...
Yes he has, same with Rupp and Solinsky (that I know of). Hall just talks about it way more than he probably should.
Smart move by Ritz
good move, especially there being no world xc this year, the national/trial to nowhere is meaningless, he should look for races abaut may (the meet at stanford probably) to get his A standard 27:45, and look for another meet to get the 5000 Astandard of 13:20.
Replace the "a" with a "u" in the thread title, and we have a story.

Good decision. Foolish to even be considering it.
It was just another ploy by Salazar.
Keep entering his athletes in races and then pulling them.

Yep. If you watch his 5000 AR run, he does the sign of the cross afterwards. I'm assuming he's Catholic, but perhaps Episcopalian? I could probably look it up, but I'm not that interested in other people's religious practices.

Ritz Scrutches Nats?
Neither am I, but he's definitely mentioned being Catholic before. Seems a lot of distance runners are religious.

No wonder he has so many problems mentally.
Can you imagine listening to someone lecture you with a bunch of nonsense, repeating it all on a blog and changing your schedule as result.
everyone scratches their nats when no one's looking. this is hardly a story
Which is it, nads or nuts?
