Using a standard format such as this:
Mon - Easy
Tuesday - short tempo ( 45 min or 6 miles )
Wednesday - Easy
Thursday - Easy
Friday - Intervals (mile-5K pace)
Saturday - easy
Sunday - Quality long run w/ tempo segments
How would you build the quality workouts in this schedule throughout a 4-month or 8-month block of training so that you peak at the right time for say a half-marathon.
The easy days can be singles or doubles.
The mileage goal is 110/week by the end of the 8 months, starting at 50-60 mi/week the first few weeks.
