Fella--
I don't think anybody believes that he went before the gun went off...we're saying it was technically a FS because his RT would have measured below .100
My personal belief is that he did actually go in response to the gun, whether his RT was below .100 or not. If his RT was .100, then the FS effect could have been exacerbated by relatively poor starts by everybody else, especially the runner to Bracy's left.
It looks to have been a perfect start, but also technically a FS.
I like Bracy's form. Believe it or not, he could use a little more drive between 2 and 20m, and get a little more range on very early acceleration. This guy can get even better than he already is.
His turnover is nice, very snappy, with seemingly only a slightly chopped stride...an equitable trade at the moment, it allows him to clean up at the races in which he runs.
When he learns to stretch it out a bit, he will be Yohan Blake. This guy is the next one, if he runs. His body posture while running looks terrific, IMHO.
This guy has all the equipment, all he needs is some real coaching.
When he makes it to some real races, we will get some RT measurements and will be able to look back on this race to see if it foreshadowed a career as the next great starter.
