Generally telling others way more than anyone might wish to hear about their physiological functions and issues. Sorry, guys, but NO ONE in the running store wants to know about your GI problems during long runs or your inner thigh chaffing.

early on during club XC season when we're tryng to scrounge up a scoring team:

you know what provides a pretty good workout...racing!!! sack up! it's not like anyone cares if you get 40th instead of 48th!!! and a few extra workouts are not going to turn you into an elite - your a goddamn mid-16 5K guy!

It was a good race, but I think I could go faster (said after running a massive PR).
