I would never run in Nike's maybe to walk but never to run.

You are an idiot. Nike makes the finest running shoes in the world.

I agree. I love nike spikes and flats, but their trainers suck. It's the opposite problem for Brooks. I love their trainers (especially the ghost 3 and 4), but i would never race in a brooks spike or flat.
Yeah I bet not they shitty quality n all I can think is there's a little Korean kid in a shack making these great shoes getting paid 10 cents an hour :-/

You do understand that Korea has something like the 13th biggest economy in the world, right, and that there are no sweatshops in the country? You know that Samsung or LG phone, tv, computer, whatever you have in your house is Korean, yeah? Or that Hyundai or Kia driving by outside? Yeah, they're Korean, too.
You'd do well to educate yourself a bit, dumba$$.

I always wondered about the basic intelligence (or lack of) of people who hate Nike because they're made overseas- like everything else they buy!
I have a friend who'll wear anything but Nike because they're made in Asian countries.
Their running shoes are great- for the right person. Just any other brand.
They used to make nice shoes, before the days of Lunar and Flywire
Unethical just a bit i was just bringing it up because of what they did to Meb and that their trainers just suck.
I remember trying on shoes at my running store. Asics trainers- felt great. Brooks trainers- felt great. Nike trainers- terrible.
BUT. I do love their spikes.

Typical LetsRun poster logic: "Brand X running shoes don't work for me; therefore, Brand X shoes are bad for everyone."
I have only owned one pair of Nike shoes and they were trash. They wore out in a month and caused blisters, etc. It could just be me but New Balance has the best shoes in my opinion.

Good to know that you are not in charge of any research project. You tried on different brands of shoes in a shoe store and made a decision that one brand felt terrible. Since most brands have a variety of models specifically designed for different running gaits and footstrike, maybe you didn't try the correct model for your particular running style.
Most running companies manufacture decent footwear (and most of those companies use very similar factories in Asia). Everyone has a particular favorite model which works the best for them. To rate a company such as Nike as terrible is a uneducated statement.
Nike probably sells more running shoes that most of the other companies combined so they can't be terrible.
I've noticed on this website that there is a lot of Nike bashing. Seems like a lot of pea-brained jealous wanna-bees. You should be thankful that Nike continues to support running, as well as the other smaller brands.
Actually, of their current trainers, I think the Lunarfly and the Pegasus are both quite good, and as others have said, their spikes and flats are very good.
Some Nike "running" shoes like Shox are terrible but their more serious running shoes are not any better or worse overall than any other brand. There isn't a universal shoe - everyone has to find a shoe that works for them.
As far as where they are made, except for a few New Balance shoes, almost all brands are made by subcontractors with giant factories in Asia, who might well make shoes for multiple brands. You aren't avoiding shoes made with cheap Asian labor by buying another brand.
LOVE Nike's Lunaracer for an everyday training shoe. Best shoe I've used in years.
Being the biggest and most visible brand, they are always going to get a lot of crap from people on this site. It's especially ironic to hear people bashing Nike who buy shoes and other stuff that's also manufactured in Asia.
The Nike streak xc 2 is the best overall shoe in the history of running.
I agree that one man's brilliant shoe is another man's massive disappointment, but I gotta say...I love the nike flats and spikes but haven't had a nike training show for 20 years, despite trying.
I've had just about every other brand, so I am not picky.
Inche hector haha but I agree trainers suck..only like their spikes.. Mizuno all the way!!
Yup, well, anybody with a Hyundai or a Kia is a dumba$$. Good call.
U KOREAN, BRO?

Oh, yes, that makes total sense. Never on earth have lousy products been big sellers.
Questionable premise, absurd inference, invalid conclusion.

Huh? What about the OP seems jealous? What makes you think he is a "wanna-bee"?
I have nothing against Nike, except for them dropping Meb, a proven performer and a great example to runners in America and worldwide. I don't love their shoes for myself, but obviously that's a person-to-person issue.
Your crazed attack on anyone not pro-Nike is pretty weird, though. Are you sure you're not on their payroll in some way?
