A big thank you to the LetsRun employee who made the link from the message board to this thread go to the LAST page instead of the first page. That's usually an annoying little thing when I'm following a marathon on here. Smart move.

I'm going to go back and delete all references to the USATF site. Just got word from wejo and employee 1.1 that aparently it was supposed to be a media only site and they are trying to figure out a way to block outsiders like us. Aparently, maybe that plan has worked.
At New York, they have that but the NYRR is smart enough to make it password protected so it doesn't get overloaded and crash.
What is wrong w/ these doofuses? Is this Skull & Bones? Some secret society preforming an elaborate ritual?
I'm surprised NBC and USATF didn't try to blackout twitter for this....
still the same 5 in the lead pack?
Abdi just took lead.
4:57 mile 12
Ok my bad. I misunderstood what our employee was saying. Apparently everyone was linking to it so the USATF site wasn't meant to be blocked but it should have been as clearly it's too much traffic.
I remember being at the NYC marathon and wondering why they didn't let everyone track every runner like we could in the media room. Now i Know why.
Mile 12 4:57. 2:06:39 projected finish from race organizers
Abdi Abdirahma now is 5 meters ahead as the pace dropped a bit that mile.
Women's race Desi leading pack of 9.

Yes. Abdi is in front by a few strides.
USATF F'ed something up!!! Stop the presses!
It would require a decent website with a robust design.
has anyone found a working link online that shows splits for all runners, not just near the front?

Or make this an indoor race with closed access to the building.
This men's race is setting up perfectly for a guy like Vaughn to make the team. I would be surprised if the top 3 finishers were all currently in the lead pack.
1:00:02 for 20k men. Ritz now with Abdi in lead. Hall, Trafeh and Meb tucked behind them.
In women's race Adriana Nelson dropping off

This:
http://flashmediazone.com/Men-Mile9.phppage works for that, it's just always a few miles behind.
Can almost feel Desi in the picture saying "Let's GO ladies"

Jakob Ingebrigtsen has a 1989 Ferrari 348 GTB and he's just put in paperwork to upgrade it
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Strava thinks the London Marathon times improved 12 minutes last year thanks to supershoes
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
