How demoralizing/disappointing do you think it will be for the #4 and 5 finishers if they are still this close with say, 1 or 2 miles to go?

Of course, they'd all still get big PRs

USATF sounds like it is backtracking - on the facebook page they say

"Live results will be available at http://flashmediazone.com/ also, follow @USMenMarathon and @USWomenMarathon on twitter for live auto updates! The Men's race starts at 8:00 CT, and the women's race starts at 8:15 CT"

At New York, they have that but the NYRR is smart enough to make it password protected so it doesn't get overloaded and crash.
