I got 2 out of 3 in the contest and was within 10 seconds of the winning time.

My wildcard bet was Abdi. Look at the US all time 10k list. He is consistent and great competitor.

Yes, he did. Ran 2:07:21 in Rotterdam. Held the Marathon World Record for 3 years as well as the Olympic Marathon Record with his 2:09 in LA.

You're either unaware that the 1985 Rotterdam Marathon did in fact take place and that Lopes ran 2:07:12 there, or are clinging to the distinction in those days between "world best" and "world record." Which is it?
