500: Dinkins
800: Callahan, Wade, Admirand, lots of Columbia
1000: 12 people or less. Van Ackeren does the 1K/Mile double
Mile: Stilin, Merber, and co. Stilin doubling mile/3K
3K: Stilin, Cabral?, Lowry, Merber?
Word on the street.

Here ya' go:
http://hepstrack.com/championships/indoor-heps/2011-championships/Wow. The Big Red men are simply conceding the 3,000 and 5,000--no entries in either.
I can see the logic, though. Those races are both going to be loaded (two dozen or more entrants, including many high-level runners), and the Cornell guys' best hope was maybe to sneak in for a point or two. With a squad limit of 33, why not save those slots and use them in less-populated events, where the chances of scoring are better? In the distance races, maybe a breakout performance moves you from twelfth (projected) to eighth (reality): you still don't score. OTOH in a field event or hept--only the LJ has more than a dozen entrants--maybe a good day moves you from eighth (projected) to fourth or fifth, so why not take the shot?
Looks like that's their reasoning with Montez Blair, who's entered in the triple jump, in which I don't think he's competed this year (though he has done it in the past). He's in the meet anyway (HJ and LJ), so it doesn't cost a roster slot to put him in the TJ.
I just noticed for the women that Alex banfich is not listed in the entries and Princeton only has one runner in the 5k and only one runner in the seeded 3k. Princeton swept both of those events last year. I guess they are no longer in e running for team championship...
Anybody know why the Lancer site is updating results so slowly.
John Bleday is nasty

UPDATED PROJECTIONS
NOT COUNTING RELAYS
CORNELL 188
PRINCETON 152
Scoring Calculated based off of the following
- Individual Personal Bests Rankings (2010-2012) for events remaining
- Points scored in Day 1 events (WT, LJ, PV, 3K)
- Recalculating the Heptathalon Results based off current scores in the books
For Princeton to have a shot they need to close that gap to about 10 heading into the 3 relays
Princeton Men are going to have to have a big day today to make up for lost points yesterday. Looks like Cornell's dominance in jumps, multis and short sprints may rule the meet.
are videos gonna be up of the races?
I would also like to know this.
(shrug)
No idea, but it seems like they are trying to give race tactics into the blog postings today...
Going into the 4x4, Princeton up over Cornell by 10.
Women still need both relays, shot put, and triple jump to finish, but Columbia has over 20 points ahead of Cornell right now...
Do you think Cornell will try and knock the baton out of Princeton's hands?
Columbia unbeatable even if they get 0 in relays
Noticed the mens mile was won in 4:2 or some such U16 level time
how slow did they go out 80/80 ?
Princeton men unofficial meet champions 184 to Cornell 176. Brown won the 4x4. And it looks like Princeton's drinking has injured his leg during his relay leg on e 4x4.
As for the mile, first half 2:26.4 (quarter in 71.4), three quarters in 3:24.3
Women shot put done and Cornell got 11 points. Columbia 102, Cornell 84. Dartmouth 67, Harvard 61, Brown 47, Princeton 34, Penn 27, Yale 12
Triple jump done, and Columbia got 16 points, locking their first indoor championships. Stil need to finish 4x4...
