I'm sorry but after reading this article I can't find any better way to describe him than a sell out. I just don't see how transferring to Oregon is the best decision for him individually. He would have been Oregon's number 2 guy at regional's and the team didn't even make the national meet. I'll give it to Oregon. They probably wouldn't have had any trouble making it out of some of the regions on the east coast but that's besides the fact that the finished 6th in their region. What's this guys deal? What does he expect to gain by transferring to Oregon? He say's its all about the atmosphere in this article but I don't think the atmosphere is going to help a guy with an already 13:42 5k pr. There's just something about those pilots that grind out 100+ mile weeks in forest park that will always make me cheer for them over those ducks in Eugene who run on an Alter G everyday. And one more thing that just set me over the line with Dunbar..."I wasn’t paying attention to that, I didn’t want to make money a factor when I was thinking about the decision.” I guess daddy will always pay your way the rest of your life.
