Bob Pollack was stealing money. Like $25k. NOt exactly the same as yelling at some patsy and standing in front of the wind gauge. Allegedly. What race was that exactly? Yeah...that's what I thought. So inconsequential you don't event know what the hell you're talking about. Grow a backbone jellyfish. |

Since when is keeping entry fees from home track meets a crime?

You're kidding, right? It is called embezzlement. Look it up.
|

Boogy is a good sprint coach and a bad person. That is all. Respect the man for what his teams have accomplished on the track. Don't respect him for what he has done off the track. A lot of comments on here about how his Women's team is always ranked pretty high nationally, have they ever shown up at nationals though?? Stormy may be the fastest woman in the NCAA to never score. Probably not her fault, great young lady. Takes more than 3 girls in the 100h to finish in the top 20 I guess. |
Uh...Its a crime when you and the assistant coach pocket the entry fees into your back pocket and don't put it back into the program. |

I know the cost of living is super high, but a pretty sweet job. the money would have to be right but would attract a good staff right? 6-figures for the top asst? I have to think that is what an asst makes at TX Austin or some SEC schools... |

If Pigg goes to unf, what's going to happen to the UGA distance team? What coaches are still looking for jobs this close to te season starting? |

1. Coach Pollock was cleared of all wrong doing by the state of South Carolina after a lengthy investigation. That is a fact. 2. The assistant AD over track at the time approved what was going on, the problem is they never got it in writing and when the state came asking questions, she denied knowing anything. 3. When it came out what he was in trouble for, a LOT of college coaches got pretty nervous and went back to check with their AD's. He was only keeping unattached/high school meet money. Again that is a fact. Now, lets get back to gossiping about who's getting what job |

The AD at Ohio State also denined knowing anything (in April) about Gary leaving until a email from the fall was produced. |

yes johnson was offered what he asked for and turned it down b/c nike promised to keep him a nike employee for life. no byrne was not offered the job, he withdrew his name from consideration. harlis is an alum and a great passion and vision for the program. he is the right man for the job Author: 80gnoway Subject: RE: 2012 Coaching Openings Message: Van Alstyne will be making much less than $80,000! Meders was given $220,000 for his 5 assistant coaches and Mark will be top assistant at 60g with no bonuses. UNC was willing to pay for Robert Johnson but when he turned it down and Mick Byrne turned it down they decided to go cheap on XC and track and Field. Mark is a good coach and my guess is he can have UNC guys in the top 2 at ACC's this fall and top 20 at Nationals. He is a good coach and he will get these guys and girls to run well. |

Who got TCU Jumps? Who are the finalists for Clemson position(s)? What is UNC stalling for? Bad salaries? |

Jeffers to Concordia - Portland, is this still correct? I have yet to see an announcement from either Concordia or Portland State, but Portland State's posting for an assistant coach job that would seem to match Jeffer's experience. Anything on Colorado School of Mines? Northern Michigan University? |

Word out of Georgia is Pigg is out. Just told the team earlier today. So is he going to UNF? |

Where is it proven? I would like to know before I attempt to secretly give money back to my program. I have college tuitions to pay for and savings to increase.
