so this guy who will be our head cross country coach from North Florida is bringing his volunteer assistant Angela reckart

I can't wait to see who replaces Coach Clarke on the sprints side. My guess is someone no one has ever heard of and never coached in college.
At least I love Chapel Hill
That's too bad she's a faith head nut job, but if you want any hope of succeeding in Chapel Hill, you're going to have to check your ego (and whoever you think you deserve) and get on board your new coaching staff's (whoever they turn out to be) program from the get go...or transfer now. If you don't feel you can work with them, then do your team (and yourself) a favor and get out, because you'll drag everyone down if you're not buying in. And you certainly won't reach your potential. If she can keep her superstitions to herself (especially since she won't be calling the shots), then your best bet (even on a personal level) if you "love Chapel Hill" is to embrace your new coaching staff. And if you really have that big of a problem with faith head nut jobs, I'm not sure why you went to school south of the Mason Dixon Line.
Any reliable word on North Florida job? Supposed to offer something today, I hear.
Offer as in someone else the job , or UNF coach gets offered UNC job?
As a state school I think UNF would have to do a public posting of the position for a certain amount of time. That's if they really have a position open. The fact that there has not been a posting could make you think that the rumors are false. Which is likely. Or they could be planning to go the "interim" route, which can also be a loophole.
ETSU job? Any word yet on the new coach?
you are right about that..Some athletes did have attitudes...
What just happened at Princeton? They just opened the head men's xc job.
Any word on who may end up at Maryland?

Maybe he's going to start a training group around Cabral in NJ
total guess, but i'd think stanford would be a good fit
Steve Dolan to Penn is the word on the street.

Dolan is out and going to be the new director at Penn.
He's definitely not at Princeton. Sent an email to the team.
https://jobs.princeton.edu/applicants/jsp/shared/position/JobDetails_css.jsp?postingId=189793Don't you mean Head Woman's coach, he can't be Director unless Penn has combined the programs
I don't know one way or the other but I can tell you that Penn had a job posting (on its own web site) for Director of Track and Field.
Director is correct.
Why would he go to be a women's coach.
I noticed Lamonte Vaughn is not listed as a coach at UCLA, anyone know where he may be going?

He is definitely the running joke within the ACC. I've heard all of the coaches hate him within the conference.
I'm sure he's laughing back since he's beating a lot of them.
Interesting that he always hires young coaches and that he coaches the women well, but not the men. Sounds like control issues. Look for a minority person hire to walk all over
Any word on cal poly pomona or portland state?
