A distance coach in waiting anticipating that the assistant who was recently fired would be the new HC.

Jake Stewart takes Illinois job. Purdue once again looking for a coach.
Any proof? A bit of an uninspiring hire if true. What has this guy shown to prove he can lead a big10 team? What did he do at purdue?
Stewart has friends who keep getting him job's. Mr Bryne doesnt want more comp so get kids jobs they cant handle, makes his job easier.

It's the SlowCon, except for UNC-Kenya-Greensboro, so who has ever heard of ETSU since the 80's? Sorry for Milner. Who is Williamson?Just curious.

Stop being a tool just because your boy is getting fired.
Cant be fired if you've never been hired.
Happens to "Volunteer Assistants" all the time, especially when the change of HC happens without any warning, or your friend gets fired.
Did the App Coach turn down ETSU? I heard it was his job all along after Eli was fired (and relieved from his previous promise of becoming the head coach). Appalachian and East Tennessee are remarkably similar schools (size, location, financials, etc). Last I heard it was a no-brainer that he was the chosen one.

Sooo let me get this straight. He quit a paid job at belmont to volunteer at ETSU or was he a volunteer at belmont also?
No, Mike Curcio turned down the ETSU job so that he could stay at Appalachian State. Milner is getting out of coaching.
