Which 2 positions are open at Wake?
Which 2 positions are open at Wake?
sorry can't resist questioning mr anybody real? bashing Sparks for working at ohio state light years ago when he was just getting started and then following that up with what about Craig Virgin? What are you smoking dude? Sparks, Bovee or Burns would all be solid hires ... glad the noise for the Butler asst. has died down ... but he'll probably end up with it who knows? I guarantee you though it wont be Craig Virgin.

A sprints and a jumps position... opened back in June and no announcement yet on new hires.
Getting late in summer. Watch for a lot of quick hires of volunteers and recent graduates at major schools. Letsrunners will cry at the unfairness in the world of coaching. Dreams of climbing the ladder will be smashed.

If volunteers are hired I think that qualifies as climbing the ladder. You may have a point worth listening to as far as grad assistant at major schools tho!!

Any updates on the part time job at Xavier. I am unable to find a link for it, that lends me to believe it might already be filled. If you have a link, please repost.
Thanks.

Xavier announced to its athletes yesterday that Ryan Orner had accepted the position.
Wake- one coach is coming from the west coast (CA). She's a great young coach and knows a lot.
UNC- One (maybe two) coaches stay on staff. Coach Meaders will hire the rest.
UK- 2 spots to fill. He decides what events to highlight.
Clemson- looking for assistant assistant coach (yes that was said twice on purpose). No bucks there either
Please stop talking about distance at least for a while.
would a university allow someone to volunteer coach if they could only be there a week or two per month? if someone has a career that has them travelling a lot and they need this income to support themselves. the hardest part of volunteering is not having any income at all....
Cory Young, has he as hired from Kentucky may be a good hire
