Just spoke with some folks over at Queens and heard Mike Curcio from App State was offered the job. Details couldn't be given regarding salary, but I heard they wanted someone long term. |

Who hired Ron Davis? are you kidding? the guy can't coach his way out of a wet paper bag! I lived in Lagrange at the time and saw hat he did with his athletes there. And I am not Kidding about this: Day one 200's 8-2- hard. Day 2 600's 3-5 hard. Day 3 Hills 8-12 hard. Sometimes he would run 200 the opposite way for "variety." Saw him take a 7-2 High jumper from Namibia into a 49 second 400m runner (HJ dropped to 6-4) and he BRAGGED ABOUT IT! |

Congrats to Mike for taking this opportunity. I know for a while now he's wanted to be a head coach. Looks like he's one now! He's done a great job at App and will continue to develop great distance runners off the mountain. I must admit I'm sad to see him go. |

Why would Hadsell leave Toledo where he is the Head Fred and has things exactly how he wants? Croghan would do a nice job as coaching men is a bigger strength than coaching women. His own world class running rep would be of bigger help at a Big 10 school than in the MAC. |
