Queens is down to two: ASU's Curcio and UNCC's Schlicter.

If the President doesn't like either, they'll go fish again. That's how it happened last time.

First round a bust... try again....

I applied for the Queens job and have heard nothing so far. How do you people find this stuff out?

Have you coached any national champions? That's what Queens wants so if you haven't proven yourself as a coach stay at your grad asst job.

I've coached 3 individual champions in the last year. If that were the criteria you would think Queens would have said something to me. I called Daniel and he mentioned that they had 3 people in this week. Should be interesting to see who they hire and what direction they take the program.

Would any one disagree with the statement that it's more about who you know than what you know in the coaching world? Networking is paramount.........

Also what national champions has ASU coached?

no National Champions, several All Americans and runners up. coached a team that beat Queens head to head. My athletes head to head beat all but one of Simons' while he was there. I am not sure that having coached National Champions is a qualification neither of the other two seem better.

100% agree on the "it's more about who you know" statement. Most coaching jobs are filled before they ever advertised...

Mary Jayne Harrelson won the 1500m twice at ASU. Not coached by the current coach but that's two champs for them somewhat recently.
